General Meeting
Proposed Mr Warner seconded Mr Atwell that the annual meeting be held in Club Rooms Burlington Terrace on Friday Feb 7/1928.

Secretary’s Report 1927-28

Since the last Annual General Meeting the Supporters Club have undertaken many activities. The Annual Workshop Competition was again an unqualified success and the final between Manningham Mills and Fun Fabric was a most exciting game and resulted in a win for the Mannignham Mills who won the Challenge Cup kindly presented by own President by Mr A Hey. During the summer further work was done on the terracing on Spion Kip and the re-backing of the South Parade Stand was carried out the Supporters Club bearing the expense. A good many social events have been held during the winters and the districts have been very keen to make success of these events and Jolle and Shipley have got good local Committees to carry out this work. The Bazaar was responsible for raising over £1,000 for the New Players Fund but did not receive the patronage expected.

The minutes of last general meeting were read by the Secretary Mr Woodhouse and confirmed. Mr Warner moved Mr Wormald seconded that minutes were correct and be adopted.

Correspondence
A letter from Mr Feitch was read re-ground and thanking the supporters for their efforts on behalf of the City Club during his connections with the Club.
Moved by Mr Ackrill Secretary Mr Warner that same be accepted and be supplied to be the Secretary (carried).

Ladies Section
A letter from Mr Bussey enclosing a cheque towards the 1% effort was also read.

Balance Sheet
The Balance Sheet was presented by the Treasurer Mr Womersley and showed a profit of £110-19-1 with liabilities of £35-0-0

Vote of Thanks
A vote of thanks was passed to Mr Womersley the Treasurer for his services (carried).

Secretary’s Report
The Secretary’s report (on previous page) was considered very satisfactory and Mr Rouse  moved Mr Simpson seconded that best thanks of the meeting be given Mr Woodhouse for same (carried).

Mr Hey
Mr Hey the President wished to convey his very best thanks to all who had worked so hard over the Spion Kop improvement (carried).
Mr Hey moved and Mr Warner seconded that the best thanks be given to Mr Woodhouse for the services rendered to the Supporters Club with his big efforts.

Proposed Weller seconded Mr Womersley that a vote of thanks be given to Mr Kitchingman for his services as auditor was carried the Secretary was instructed to write to that effect. Carried.

Vote of Thanks
A vote of thanks to Mr Hey the President for so ably presiding was moved by Mr Ackrill seconded Mr Moffat and carried without dissent.

Proposed Mr Smith seconded Krause that we have a social Club room providing that suitable rooms can be found (carried).
After discussion Mr Hey suggested that the house and room over Mr Leach fruiterer shop would be worth a visit, after receiving the rooms Mr Woodhouse moved and Mr Moore seconded that the rooms were not suitable for the purpose for which we wanted them, voting 8 for 10 against. This position of the minutes be seconded carried.

Bradord City Supporters Social Club

The objects of the Club are to provide rooms Shareholders’ Club may meet and transact their business, also every way possible to promote the best interests of the Bradford city Association Football Club.

The Management of the Club shall be vested in Secretary, Treasurer and eight other Members, who shall be elected annually at a General Meeting of the Members of the Club.

The duties of the Committee will be to order all goods, pay all accounts and  transact all business on behalf of the Club. They shall submit a report of their work at a yearly or half-yearly Meeting.

Any Member of the Bradford City Supporters’ Club may become a Member of the Social Club on payment of 4/- per year, or 2/- per half-year, payable in advance.

Members must be nominated by two Members of the Club, who are able to vouch from personal knowledge of the candidate’s fitness to be a Member of the Club. Each nomination shall be posted in the Club for seven days and if there is no objection to same the Committee shall elect the candidate a Member of the Club.

Visitors may be introduced by Members, but it is requested that no person shall be introduced above twice per year by any one Member. Visitors are not allowed to pay for refreshments and Members introducing visitors are responsible for their conduct whilst in the Club.

Gambling, drunkenness and obscene language on the premises is strictly prohibited and any Member offending against this rule is liable to expulsion and will be immediately dealt with by the Committee.

The Committee have power to create Honorary Members, should they so desire to do.

The hours of opening for the sale of intoxicants shall be as follows:-
12 to 2 and 4 to 10 on Weekdays
12.30 to 2.30 and 7 to 10 on Sundays

A letter from Mr Chell tendering his resignation from the Supporters Club also as Secretary of the Social Club was read and accepted on the motion of Mr Warmsley by Mr Knowles.

Proposed Mr Knowles seconded Mr Halliam that the sum of sixty pounds be lent by Supporters Club to the City Supporters Social Club was carried.

A letter was received for Mr J Weller joint Secretary resigning his position. It was decided to accept it and that a letter of thanks for his past services be sent.
