Committee Meeting held at Belle Vue Hotel

Mr Hey in the chair
Present: Messrs. Warner, Rowan, Reedy, Dyson, Smith, Womersley, Robson, Blackburn and Secretary
Club House
Mr Hey reported that there was some chance to get a house in Mornington
Villas at a reasonable figure and it was in every way suitable for Club premises. He would call the Sub-Committee together to view the premises.
Saloon for Liverpool
Mr Warner proposed and Mr Womersley seconded that the Secretary took a saloon for Liverpool.
Smoking Concert
Mr Warner proposed and Mr Rowan seconded that we have a Smoking Concert on Tuesday January 29th and that the players, directors, officials and staff of the city A.F.S. be invited to attend.
Mr Reedy undertook to see Mr. L Firth pianist and Mr Warner to engage Mr Dean.

Club House
Mr Hey reported that the Sub-Committee had viewed the house but found on enquiry that the expense of making billiard room would be too much. It was left to Mr Ayrton to see Mr Gadie re option on premises to report on Tuesday at 7.30pm.
Auditor
Mr Hey proposed and Mr Womersley seconded that Mr G Thornton be auditor for the season.
General Meeting
Mr Warner proposed and Mr Baldwin seconded that we hold general meeting be held on Friday February 29th.
Annual Trip
Mr Reedy proposed that we recommend to the general members that we have annual trip to Blackpool on March 1st.

The minutes of last meeting were read and confirmed
Mr Warner proposed and Mr Hill seconded that the Secretary’s action with regard to the trip to Blackpool be confirmed.
No nomination was received for the Committee and it was decided to leave it to the general meeting.

The minutes of last meeting were read and confirmed
The Secretary’s report was given and showed that the Club had not received the support it should have done during the season at its various functions that it should have done. Some £150 worth of season tickets were sold for the City F.C.
Balance Sheet
The Treasurer statement of accounts was presented and showed a substantial balance in hand. It was passed subject to audit.

Tickets for Shares
Mr Robson proposed and Mr Mooney seconded that the Committee be recommended to issue coupon tickets value 6d to pay for shares in the City Club.
A recommendation was made that Mr A Lancaster be interviewed with a view to the joining the City Directorate.

Club House
Mr Smith proposed and Mr Blackburn seconded that a Sub-Committee be elected to view suitable presentations for Club officers in Club rooms in the in or near the ground.
The Sub-Committee to be Vice Presidents, Secretary, Treasurer, Mr Reedy and Mr Warner and meet Saturday at 2.15.
Coupon Money
Mr Hey proposed and Mr Blackburn seconded that we have books of coupons value 10/- printed 250 books.
Directors
Mr Smith proposed and Mr Dyson seconded that the Directors of the City Club we written too to see if they are agreeable to now co-opt a ?(80) for the City Supporters Club in the Directorate.
Signature at Bank
Mr Warner proposed and Mr Dyson seconded that Mr Womersley’s has to be given to the bank in place on Mr Hills to sign cheques.
It was left to the Secretary to call the next meeting.
